The two cards are an unlikely pair. The hermit alone with his Virgo book, indicating his dedication to the Earth and knowledge. The Queen of Swords is a beautiful fairy. She has gorgeous wings and lovely white gown. She is experience yet pure, and quite distracted. Does she require some lost knowledge only the hermit has? Maybe she turns herself into that little mouse on the hermit’s shoulder in her own quest for knowledge.
